This is an absolutely GORGEOUS vintage metal tissue box with a removeable lid.  The background color is creamy white and not pink.  On one side of the lid are some raised relief painted pink blossoms.  On the other side is an art deco style painted black Poodle. There is one multi-faceted diamond like sparkling rhinestone inset into one eye.  On the dog's neck are four sparkling rhinestones. Also on the lid is the word, coiffeur.  On the bottom is the original RANSBURG - MADE IN THE USA maker's mark.  Measurements are approximately:  a tad under 11" x 5.5" x 2.75" H.   This item was found in an estate sale. My guess is that this dates back to the 1950s. Aside from some signs of surface wear (that could be repaired), this item is still beautiful and useful!!  The lid can be removed and replaced easily.  This would make a beautiful designer home accent!
