Wonderful, rare, and vintage soapstone carving from artist Halon/Haldo, available for the first time.  Hand crafted and hand carved, this piece depicts a beautiful goose catching its meal.  Signed by the artist himself/herself along with the numbers "1592".  Very good vintage condition as pictured.  Measures approximately 3 3/4"h x 2"d x 5 1/2"w at furthest points.

Appraised by Chubb Group of Insurance Companies for $450 in 1981.
