At first glance the eye is drawn to the barrel that features the most significant symbol of all: the oval shield bearing the Arms of the Bourbon Parma, with the royal crowns at each corner. A crown adorns even the top of the cap, decorated with a border of blue, yellow and scarlet: the State colors after the issuance of the Royal Decree. This pen is a fountain made of 925 sterling silver with precious details in gold. The white sterling silver background represents a white cloth, which is then decorated with a pattern of fleurs-de-lis, characteristic of the House of Bourbon Parma. The barrel and cap are engraved with a burin and treated with a special technique of ceramic glaze.
Its 18k solid gold nib boast the traditional Tibaldi eagle in two-tone. Rhodium is only applied outside the contours of the logo, requiring the skill of an experienced goldsmith. The iridium point is welded to the gold and shaped according to the writing grade desired. The nib is offered in a Medium grade, and ink is fed by a patented piston feeder system with ink tank capacity of 0.9ml reservoir.
