Here's a chance to get an awesome early 1970s flip clock radio!  Check out this vintage, Panasonic RC-7469 Flip Clock Radio, just completed full service and refurbishment.

This is one of Panasonic's first flip clock radios and was originally marketed as "The Cameron" with real wood sides.  It's just a gorgeous piece of vintage electronics.  This is a very popular clock radio among collectors due to its speedometer like tuner dials, one separate display for both the AM and FM band.

- Completely disassembled and inspected all electronic components, radio tuner cord string and circuit board.
- Inspected the clock movement for any dirt, blew out all dust.
- The Copal flip clock motor was opened and gears were inspected for damage/wear.  The motor was lubricated.  It runs quietly.
- Completely detailed piece and removed all dirt and dust, including 1/4" dust on top of the speaker.
- Installed new incandescent bulb for time display.
- Radio incandescent bulbs still nice and bright.
- All knobs were cleaned and lubricated. Tuner pulls in AM and FM stations nice and clear.

It’s in a 9+/10 condition, only some slight wood dings on the panels but you'll have to look really hard to see them, also a small scratch across the time display. Everything is working perfectly.  Case is nice and clean, no rust in the metal trim.  Everything is original.  Nothing was refinished or painted. The face plate is good and clean with no cracks.

This is a good collector grade piece and would be a great addition to any collection. Please examine photos carefully. I'm a flip clock fanatic and own many of these radios, including another example of this same model. I love bringing old flip clocks back to life! I am selling this one to fund other projects and additions to my own collection!  If you see my past sales, you will see I do great work and have nothing but positive feedback.

If you want a great flip clock radio, buy from a collector, someone who really cares about these pieces and isn't just selling something they don't know anything about. I buy clock radios here on eBay also and I can tell you about half of them I get have issues/problems that weren't in the listing.  YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!  I took great care to prepare this piece for sale as if it were one of my own.  My pieces are clean and beautiful and are wonderful to look at. Buy from another seller who is just reselling a piece and take your chances or buy from me and know this radio is going to arrive undamaged and work great.

I have a lot of experience with flip clock radios from my electronics background and collecting vintage clock radios.  Check out my collection on my website (seen in all the photos).  I have other pieces for sale here as well.

I'm a serious seller and I don't play games with buyers.  I try to represent the pieces to the best of my knowledge and I am glad to answer any questions you may have.  Please examine photos carefully and ask me about condition before purchasing as there are no returns accepted.

Item will be packed carefully...with lots of bubble wrap and Styrofoam (the way the radio was packed when new). I can't tell you how many poorly packed radios I've purchased on eBay that arrived damaged in shipping. Yours will arrive in undamaged condition. I promise you this clock radio will work perfectly when you receive it but please remember this is a vintage item sold as-is with no implied warranty or guarantee. I will not ship to countries not participating in eBay's global shipping program. Foreign buyers, please note that this radio runs on 110V/60Hz mains and won't work or keep correct time on 220V/50Hz supply. Please no low ball offers....I take pride in my work and won't give it away. Please pay promptly...items not paid within three days of purchase will be canceled and relisted.

Note: Other eBay sellers have been using pictures from my website as pictures of their radios in their listings (instead of actual photos) .  If you see a picture of a clock radio with my website and it is not in one of my listings, please contact me.
