Up for sale is a superb, very large white marble sitting Lord Buddha statue, depicting the Buddha sitting on lotus flower, in a serene demeanour and meditative mood, hands in blessing gesture. This Buddha statue is remarkable in its very fineness and details in craftsmanship, and in the supreme facial expressions of bliss, benevolence and magnificence.
The statue is made of reconstituted marble that has a creamy, semi-translucent quality that appears somewhere between jade and blanc de chine porcelain.
