This scarce volume is a scholarly work and part of a series published by the University of Chicago Oriental Institute following the excavation of the palace at Khorsabad, Iraq, which took place between 1928 and 1935. Khorsabad was once the Assyrian capitol formerly known as Dur-Sharrukin (Fortress of Sargon).
