"Beautiful modern dress with vintage details This dress is so beautiful in person! The color is pretty accurate to how it is shown online but there is a shimmering gold thread that runs through which gives it a subtle touch of glamor. I didn't notice it in the picture online but it was a pleasant surprise. It has an incredibly flattering cut with a beautiful low back detail. However, you really can't wear a bra because of this, but I feel that the cut and the fabric proved supportive enough without one. The skirt seems a bit more full than the picture shows. The fabric is sturdy and structured but moveable and flowy at the same time. I often wear size small/4 in anything Anthropologie but after ordering both the small and the medium I ended up keeping the medium, mostly because of the tightness around the rib cage. This is such a stunningly simple yet glamorous dress and I definitely think it will go equally well with casual ankle boots, strappy summer sandals or pumps/heels. Very versatile and I think worth the price! For reference: I am 5'6", 140 lbs, 36C"

"sophisticated lady dress I bought this for a trip to Europe where we would be attending several dressy dinners. I love the fabric which is a tweed with silky lining, not too heavy to be worn in summer even in hot VA where I live. As others have said there is a metallic thread running through the tweed that doesn't really show up in the pictures making this the perfect party dress. The cut is super flattering and just a little sexy with the low scoop back. I am 5'9" about 130 lbs and the size small fit well. As others have said the fabric is thick enough to skip the bra. I preferred to wear mine to give the dress a more hourglass shape so I just pushed my back strap down a little lower than it normally falls. I also wore a thin belt, which emphasizes the waist. I feel like a lady when I put this on and would feel appropriately dressed at any party or other dressy event. The salesperson said they thought it could even be worn to holiday/winter parties because of the metallic. I'm not sure about that... will have to wait and see."

"Gorgeous Dress I would not normally spend this much on a dress, but this dress is stunning in person. It has metallic silver thread which give it a dressier quality. The cute is very flattering with a wide neckline and low back. The fabric is heavy with a nice swing to it and it is lined. It will be a bit heavy to wear in summer but will be perfect for the wedding I plan to wear it to. Because of the wide and low cut of the back, I could not wear a bra with this but it is structured and lined so am okay to go without. I bought the size 2. It hits a few inches above the knee. I am 5' 4.5", about 115 lbs, 34A and the size 2 fit perfectly."
