Near mint (appears to be used only once), Original German WW2 manufacture Vauen Brand smoking pipe. This is honestly the nicest example I have seen in over 20 years of collecting and selling German WW2 items. Vauen brand pipes were very commonly marketed to, sold to, and used by German soldiers in WW2.  Ads for this model appear in a variety of German WW2 civilian and military magazines and it is often seen in photos being used by German soldiers.

It has no teeth or bite marks on the moutpiece (filter) and it smells a little of tobacco but appears to have very little use. I would guess only once. The wood body is not scratched or soiled or chipped or showing any of the usual wear compared to the others I have examined over the years.

It measures 6" long.

Don't miss it, it really is the nicest example I have ever seen, it would be very hard to beat!
