A vintage WWll German Infantry Marching Compass. It was made for the German military by the Max Kohl Company that was established in 1908. The compass case is nickel with a broad nose containing 4 rivets in the hinge. The case cover is bakelite, and the folding, 50 mm slide ruler and lanyard thumb ring are brass. The case cover is stamped, "MK 87304". It is in excellent, working condition. THIS IS A RARE PIECE! YOU WON'T FIND THESE OUTSIDE OF MUSEUMS, and is from my Uncle's estate.
