This new PBX / PABX system is very easy to install and use. It has all the standard features of existing telephone systems and is compatible with non-proprietary telephones and analogue telephone lines.

1. Capacity support 4 lines and 24 extensions
 · The PBX-824PC allows you to grow gradually and start with few lines and extensions (ready to grow), if the current system requires less than 4 lines (telephone provider trunks) and 24 extensions can operate normally without the need to have all Lines and extensions connected.
2. Capacity for three different output messages (MDS)
· Any of the three OGM messages (messages previously recorded on the switch) will be reproduced according to the action of the caller. (Example 1 for incoming calls, 2 for busy calls, 3 for unanswered calls).
3. Direct / indirect line
 · To answer external calls using CO lines (from the telephone provider) can be accessed directly by dialing the phone number directly or indirectly (first calling '9')
4. Assisted Dialing
· The secretary or assistant can dial an external call from any extension and then transfer the call to another extension.
5. Manual transfer of external calls.
· Incoming calls can be transferred to an external phone number manually.
6. Call Restriction Scheme
 · Outgoing calls and special numbers can be deactivated at any extension by restricting the dialing of certain numbers.
 7. Password protect external calls
 · Outgoing calls can be restricted by the use of the password.
8. Limited call time
 · All calls can be programmed to disconnect after a certain period of time (in minutes).
 9. Line Monitoring
 · Any line can be monitored.
10. Caller ID transfer (FSK / DTMF / Bellcore standard)
· Caller ID is also transmitted when the call is transferred between extensions.
11. Auto Attendant
· The auto attendant will answer incoming calls and give the appropriate message (OGM) before transferring to the appropriate extension, if the call goes to an occupied extension or not answering to generate another OGM message indicated.
12. Carrier mode
 · Incoming calls can be automatically transferred to a pre-programmed extension with the attendant or operator.
13. Do not disturb
 - With this function activated it will not ring and the call will be transferred to another extension.
 14. Call waiting and call waiting while being transferred
· Incoming calls can be put on hold and transferred from any extension, including missed calls. The caller listens to music during the transfer.
 15. Transfer assisted by an assistant
 · The attendee can talk to the person at the extension requested by the caller before transferring the call (to avoid taking unnecessary calls).
16. Transfer if there is no response
 · The incoming call will be sent back to the first extension of the transfer if the requested extension is not answered. The caller listens to music on hold during the transfer.
17. Answer incoming calls
· Incoming calls can be answered from any extension.
18. Intercommunication between internal calls
 · Intercom calls can be made between different extensions.
19. Compatible with most communication equipment
 · The PBX-832PC can be connected to telephones, fax machines, computers and other communication equipment that requires an analog telephone line.
 20. Transfer if busy
· All incoming calls can be transferred to another extension when the requested extension is busy.
21. Grouping of CO Lines
· Lines can be programmed to be answered by a certain group of extensions.
 22. Tripartite Conference
· Threepartie can be in conference (incoming calls and internal calls).
 23. Incoming call alert
 · People to dedicated extensions will hear a special tone alerting you that there is an incoming call.
 24. External input music
· An external music source can be used to replace the built-in music on hold.
25. Intercom for calling all extensions
· Any extension can call everyone at a time the extension.
26. Password to protect extension
· Access to the individual extension can be password protected.
27. Tolerance to voltage interruptions
  · During a power failure, 4 extensions remain functional, both for intercom calls and lines.

A  billing system is be able to rate each call per user or extension. It has a functionality to manage Hotels.
