JOE HONDA Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO No.47 : Grand Prix 1973, plus Le Mans and Daytona 24 Hours

The No.47 issue of “Racing Pictorial Series by HIRO” is featuring the 1973 Grand Prix season, the most brilliant year of the 1970s. This year was overwhelmed by the Tyrrell lead by Jackie Stewart and and François Cévert , and Emerson Fittipaldi raced together with Ronnie Peterson from Lotus.

Since the signature machine of both teams, the Tyrrell 006 and LOTUS72E are already had been featured on the previous issues, also Ronnie was also being featured previously, both cars and drivers will be reduced the weight in this issue. In Addition the McLaren M23 was also being featured, we tried our best to discover unused pictures for featuring in this issue.
The machines which have been first seen is the series will be the Braham BT37 and BT42, Shadow DN1, Ferrari 312B3, Surtees TS14A, March 731, BRM P160E, Iso-Williams FX3B and IR, Tecno PA123. Though the vase variations, these maniac lineups will be very interesting.
This issue  consists of colour photos only, because the B/W archive of this year had not been discovered yet. In order to fill the blank pages, this issue is also featuring the Le Mans 24 hours and Daytona 24 hours races of the same year. Interesting machines likes the Ferrari 312PB will be available in the features.

As the motorsports activities being matured, there were voices for reviewing the safety concerns. Some actions were started, however, the power and speed of the evolving machines were still overwhelming the safety measures in this season.
