This Is A Original Warmink Vintage Dutch Oak Wood 8 Day Bracket Clock With Silent Option & Rolling Moonphase.
This clock has a beautiful oak case with fretwork side panels.
All decoration on this clock is brass from feet to handle.
Working rolling moon phase.
Clock dates to the 1960 - 1970s.
Warmink etched original factory sticker ‘’
Wuba’’ on the inside of the rear door.
The Dial is signed “Warmink”
This clock strikes on two bells the full hour for how many hours it is and once on the half hour and can be silenced if required simply by moving over the small lever located to the top right of the movement.
The sound of the bells are beatiful and clear.
This lever must be moved back in order to continue with the striking..
The clock is
in used full fine running condition.
Size 22x17x12.5 cm – 8.7x6.7x4.9 inches included the ornaments.
The movement is running fine, numbered Wuba 172080, with a good working rolling moonphase/calendar and the case is in excellent condition for his age.
The Clock comes complete with his original key.

years in business and craftsmanship dating back to the 17th century, Warmink
Clocks (WUBA CLOCKS) of the Dutch City Almelo. Warmink Clocks has closed their
doors forever. The Warmink family has retired. The remaining items were sold
off & once they are gone, there will never be any more manufactured.
Those items you already own are now collectors items. If you need parts, they
are still available thru Clock Emporium and other such dealers.
Clockmaking is not a new industry to Holland, for small family business' have
existed for centuries producing the various types and styles that distinguish
Dutch Clocks from those of other countries. The "WARMINK" Company
represented such an industry since it's existence for over 70 years --
producing quality clocks in the traditional Dutch styling with the most
exacting standards of craftsmanship.
Clockmaking still requires much handwork for perfect finish inside and out.
This is shown by the beautiful hand-painted dials and the necessary workmanship
to finish the oak and walnut wood, in order to obtain the fine satin gloss of
the walnut that characterizes the "WARMINK CLOCKS". All this care and
skill makes the creation of a Warmink clock a living tradition. The rustic
charm of these lovely styled pieces and a choice of romantic chimes represents
a note of distinction in every home.
