For auction is a Breitling 769 Chronomate 217012 in 18k rose gold never polished with original patina dial. Easily the nicest gold 769 around this piece is in a beautiful never polished not-messed-with condition. Amazing two tone silver 40's dial in a very good original condition. Right now is a great time to snag a nice 769; they are less than 806's but in many regards are nicer. For starters they have a better movement, the Venus 175 is a great one. And the dials, when original, are just the nicest. A great watch both with long term upside and daily wear appeal.
