I bought this watch a few weeks ago from Retro Watches UK but it was a bit of an impulse buy and I have decided to sell. It is a rare Omega Seamaster Chronostop (145.008) from about 1968 / 1969. This one has the most desirable 'roulette wheel' bezel. The watch uses the 17j 865 hand winding movement. This example winds very smoothly, has a 24+ hr run time and keeps excellent time (though service history is unknown). The chronograph (stopwatch timer) also works as it should and resets to 12 o'clock. (top pusher starts, bottom pusher stops and resets with one push). The case is about 40mm wide. All crowns are Omega signed (crown on left side rotates the roulette bezel, crown on right side winds the watch / sets time). This watch has the rare original band (1170) with the correct end links and signed clasp. Will fit a 7.25 inch wrist. Great example in outstanding condition. The watch in the photos is the actual watch I am selling.
