Hello, and thank you for viewing this item!  All of our products are individually handcrafted to the highest standards of excellence in quality, craftsmanship, and artistry.  Our goal is to provide our customers with unique and lasting tools to promote their own individual creativity to the highest levels.  All of our dip pens are crafted from solid, natural materials that originate from all across the globe; with a lot of emphasis in the selection process placed on outstanding quality and beauty, as well as on environmental responsibility (which is also employed within our own operational practices as well).

Since we began selling our dip pen sets and pens in 2013, we have established a well earned reputation throughout the more than 40 countries in which our customer-base has spanned: for quality, service, integrity, and a willingness to work with our customers to ensure their needs are met to the greatest degree possible. We take great pride in our business - not only in the excellence and innovation of our products, but in our knowledge and experience in their use. We're always happy to work with you to answer your questions, so please don't be shy in contacting us!

About our pens: From the very first pen that was turned, Double Dip Pen Arts' pens have been individually numbered in sequence as they have been completed, and all of our pens have included a certificate bearing this "serial number" as well as the date of completion, an artist's signature, and other details specific to each individual pen from our lathe. No two of our pens are ever exactly alike since they are individually turned (not mass produced), and we made the decision at the very beginning of turning pens to forego the use of any fixed templates or exact measurements in the creation of our pens. On the few occasions when we have "reproduced" one of our original designs, there is no possibility for an exact replication due to our "freehand" production techniques, as well as the unique "fingerprint" of the woods contained within the pens themselves in the form of their grains and other unique physical characteristics. This all adds up to a unique and original pen creation every time that can never be exactly matched or reproduced by anyone. We believe that our exceedingly-high-quality dip pens should be as individual and unique as the creative spirits who own and use them, and that is a commitment to our customers that we have stood by since the start.

This listing is for one solid wood oblique dip pen with one D.Leonard flexible dip pen nib as pictured.

*Note from the artist: "This pen is in a mildly modified, Magnuson pen design - and it's a great reflection on some of our earliest styling and design innovations that first set Double Dip Pen Arts apart from other contemporary dip pen makers. Unlike traditional, "flat flange" oblique holders, Double Dip Pen Arts' pens always feature our unique"sidecar" nib holder. In addition to utilizing a fully rounded, insertion nib holder (just like those found in most non-oblique pens), our sidecar armatures provide a greater range of positioning options available to the pen user through our side-mount,  center-mount, and angle-mount nib holder placements (the flat-flange holder design can only be offered in a side mount option due to the nature of that design's inherent functional limitations). Many artists who have felt frustrated in the past by the obstruction the older flange design placed in the path of their fingers when using those pens have found our center mount option to be a great source of excitement since it may remove the holder completely out of their way. At the least, our unique sidecar holders may be viewed as another solid tool/option to add into the 'tool box' of any artist or calligrapher to increase the possibilities in how they execute their masterworks - but we here at Double Dip Pen Arts like to see our sidecar design as an very innovative (and very artful) advancement." :)
