Here on offer is a great example of an RAF sweetheart brooch in which consists of an RAF crown and wings emblem set on a chrome plated propeller.

The brooch is 3” (7.7cm) wide and is complete with its original long brooch pin and “C” clasp.

It weighs 8g.

It also has a makers mark stamped on the reverse, in a semi-circle, showing:

The brooch is in great condition; no loss of plating, just some dulling to the propellers that I am sure would shine up if polished. Also one of the “V” prongs at the bottom (under the A of RAF) is slightly pushed back.
