Here on offer is a lovely detailed example of
a vintage nickel/chrome and enamel RAF sweetheart brooch, probably from the WW2
period as it displays the Kings Crown.
The “Kings” Crown is correct for the reign of
George VI during WW2, with the letters RAF below it.
Set in the crown is a red enamel background and
there is a beautiful blue enamel inset around the letters, RAF.
The reverse is plain and I can’t see a makers mark
anywhere.
This is a quality piece in EXCELLENT, near MINT
condition, with fine detail to the crown and feathered wings.
The brooch is 2.1” (5.4cm) wide and is complete
with its original long brooch pin and “C” clasp.
Please
see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this
description.
Please note: The postage charges
quoted are for, tracked UK postage.
The international postage is shown for
shipping to the USA. Shipping to Europe should be less, so please ask for an
accurate price for your country.
Please ask me
if you would like me to look at cheaper delivery services other than via Royal
Mail.
Many thanks
for taking the time to look.
