MATCHBOX LESNEY MODELS OF YESTERYEAR 1936 JAGUAR SS. 100 No Y-1 1977

CONDITION
Very Good, loose. Broken windshield where the windshield is attached on the side, see second to last image. Therefore the windshield wobbles if you touch it, however it stays in place on the car. You wouldn't know it was broke if you didn't look close or touch the windshield, certainly suitable for display. Otherwise chromed plastic hardware, silver wire wheels, soft rubber whitewall treaded tires are all excellent condition. If you look close the metallic light blue paint has weird rippling on fenders, no chipping, black plastic interior intact.

I've been collecting diecast cars since I was 4 (see my profile pic). I grew up smack dab in the middle of the Golden Age of Diecast Cars -'68-'75. When we moved to Canada in '69-'70 Dad would bring home Models of Yesteryear, Corgis, Dinky Toys, Huskey's, and Superfast Matchbox cars (Hot Wheels wasn't available in Canada). I remember every one and what he told me about each car. After we moved back to the USA, the kids across the street and I would buy, trade, race, repair, restore, and sometimes customize our cars. Still have nearly all of them, and they are almost all in great condition. To this day, I buy, sell, repair, and occasionally restore, and customize, miniature diecast cars as my hobby.

I make every attempt to assess the fair market value for diecast cars I sell. I review current models on ebay, their condition and their pricing, including buy it now and watch auction sales. Keep in mind however, that "value" is subjective. A mint car to one person may only be very good to another. It all depends on what you're looking to collect and to accept.
