Here I have a LARGE very old GENUINE Channel Islands Bank £1 Banknote on Blue paper.

It has a very nice CHANNEL ISLANDS BANK watermark in the paper.

The CHANNEL ISLANDS watermark is arched shaped.

They are made in pairs so this note is from the right side with the cut edge on the left hand side of the paper as the makers cut them like the early white Bank of England notes.

one cut edge as issue/made.

It is a large note and the size is approximately 125mm x 212mm.

It has the Prefix-Number E547. 

A genuine note, I have only seen three of them to date the E prefix only.

It was made with a part printed dated 18-- so very old, the last two numbers would have been put in by hand when issued.

It would have been handsigned as well when issued with the date all them years ago.

It was Pro Graded as E/F when I brought it in a top English Auction House.

It has light handling creases which is not surprizing for a note this old.

A great note to have in your Channel Islands or British Collection and they don't turn up very often. I've only seen 3 ever.
