THIS VERY EARLY COMMERCIAL GAS TURBINE FROM THE 1990s WAS DEVELOPED FROM THE KURT SCHRECKLING DESIGNED FD3/64 ENGINE, AND WAS ONE OF THE FIRST COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE GAS TURBINES

I BOUGHT THIS YEARS AGO FOR DISPLAY WITH MY COLLECTION OF VINTAGE GAS TURBINES, I HAVE NEVER RUN IT, BUT IT HAS BEEN RUN & FLOWN AT SOME TIME.
THIS ENGINE IS IN EXCELLENT COSMETIC CONDITION, NO DAMAGE, NO DENTS, THERE IS HEAT STAINING TO THE REAR CASE & EXHAUST CONE FROM RUNNING, THE BROWN STUFF SEEN BEHIND THE FRONT COVER IS SILICONE GASKET SEALANT, THE PREVIOUS OWNER USED THIS TO ENSURE THE CASE/FRONT COVER JOINT WAS COMPLETELY SEALED.
THIS ENGINE HAS NOT BEEN USED FOR A LEAST 15years, THE TURBINE SHAFT SPINS FREELY, THE BEARINGS FEEL "GRITTY", BUT OF COURSE THEY SHOULD BE REPLACED AND THE ENGINE WILL ALSO NEED SERVICING, IF THE ENGINE IS TO BE RUN AS THEY HAVE BEEN STANDING FOR AT LEAST 15years!!.
THE ENGINE COMES WITH IT`S ORIGINAL ACCESSORIES/ANCILLARIES :- ECU, "GSU"-GROUND SUPPORT UNIT (DATA DISPLAY UNIT), EGT SENSOR, FUEL PUMP, AIR STARTING BLOWER.
ALSO COMES WITH IT`S ORIGINAL DATA ACQUISITION SOFTWARE, MANUAL, & RS-232 LEVEL ADAPTER BOARD FOR CONNECTION TO A COMPUTER (SOFTWARE IS ON A FLOPPY DISC!) .
AN ORIGINAL STARTING/MAINTENANCE/INSTALLATION MANUAL IS INCLUDED.
I HAVE NEVER RUN THIS ENGINE AND IT HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED INTERNALLY AND IS SOLD AS IS AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS.
