Postage

How is my item sent?

All small items purchased are delivered via reliable services, with who we have worked along side for decades; UPS, APC, TNT. Larger items will be delivered by pallet service. Delivery of all items will require signature. If, for any reason, you require your items to be delivered for a specific time, a same day delivery or a special delivery; please inform us via eBay or telephone before purchasing and we will try our very best to arrange this for you.

Please remember when you accept a delivery, you are signing to say that you have received the goods in a perfect conditions. If you notice any damage on the package or if you think it has been mishandled always sign as “damaged” or if the packaging is in a very bad state please refuse delivery and contact us.

How long will it take to receive my order?

Unless otherwise stated on the item description, we always endeavour to despatch UK orders the same working day if ordered before 1:30pm Monday to Friday. However any goods ordered after 1:30pm on Fridays or over the weekend will not be dispatched until Monday. 

What days are regarded as working days?

Working days are classed as Monday to Friday and exclude weekends and all public holidays

Can I select the delivery date?

If for any reason you would like your items to be delivered later than the advertised timescales we will make every effort to help. If you require this service please state your required delivery date in the additional notes section when making payment or alternatively you can call our dedicated customer service team on 01924 448934 who will be happy to arrange this for you. Timed or Saturday deliveries are also available at an extra charge, please call us for details.

How can I track my order?

Orders can be tracked via request. Please Contact us from the above contact details, and we can provide you with a tracking consignment number and the couriering service's details.

What happens if I’m out when you deliver?

If you are unable to be home when we deliver, the courier will leave a card stating that they have attempted to deliver your consignment while you were out. You can then either collect your items from your local depot, whose address will be on the card, or alternatively you can contact the courier to arrange re-delivery. If you wish, you may leave instructions for the delivery driver such as ‘leave with neighbour’ for example, in this case it is at the driver’s discretion whether he leaves the item and you will assume full responsibility for the package.

Will you deliver to an alternative delivery address?

As a security measure to protect our customers and ourselves from fraud we will only dispatch items to the address where your credit/debit card is registered or if paying via PayPal to your PayPal registered address. The only way in which we can deliver to a different address is if payment is received by direct bank transfer or postal order.

Do you deliver overseas?

Items are available for International and Overseas delivery. Please enquire before purchasing and we can provide a shipping quote for you.

Can I combine multiple orders into one delivery?

If you wish to buy multiple items please select all items before attempting to make payment, eBay should then automatically combine the postage charges. If you have made multiple purchases separately and would like to try and combine postage please e-mail us or call us on 01924 448 934 and we will try our best to arrange this, however we cannot guarantee that postage can be combined after the payment has been processed.

How long will it take to receive my refund?

We endeavour to process all refunds as soon as possible and all refunds will be paid within a maximum of thirty days. Refunds can only be processed once any goods have been returned to us. Refund payments will normally be made via the same payment method that you originally made payment with.

If you have received an item that is damaged or has a fault in any way please return it to us within 14 days of delivery with all tags and original packaging, including your receipt for return postage. If we agree that there is a manufactures fault with the product or damage caused by ourselves we will then offer you a full refund including your postage costs or exchange.
Alternatively we may be able to arrange for our courier to deliver you a replacement product and collect the damaged goods at the same time. If you would prefer to receive this service please call us on 08444 772 888.

Each Order is checked for accuracy, packaged accordingly to industry standards, and shipped using the best carriers available. However, occasionally mistakes do happen. To expedite resolutions to overage, shortage and damage (OS&D) issues, we encourage you to use the following guidelines.

 

Inspection of Delivery

Before signing for a package or freight shipment, it is your responsibility to inspect the delivery for visible signs of damage.

 

Look for the following:

 

·         Torn or punctured cardboard or stretch wrap

·         Broken or crushed corners

·         Broken pallet

·         Consignment stacked askew or shifted on a pallet

·         Broken “Overfinch” security tape

 

If damage is found:

·         Immediately write down description of damage on the delivery receipt,
 inform the driver and take Pictures of the damage.

o    Note: If damage is not recorded and brought to the driver’s attention,
 the carrier will not honour any damage claim.

·         If the driver is willing to wait, open the shipment and inspect items. 
Note any internal damage on the delivery receipt and inform the driver

·         Sign for the delivery and contact Overfinch within 48 Hours to file a claim

 

Verify Your Order

 

·         Compare the items shipped with the Packing List included with your
shipment and verify that your order has been received.

·         If there is an overage or shortage of items, contact Overfinch within 48 hours
to file a customer service claim

Please do not wait until you start your job to verify the contents of your order.

 

Reporting OS&D

 

For an Overage or Shortage claim:

·         Immediately after inspecting your order,
report any discrepancies between your packing list and the contents of your shipment.

·         If you receive an item you didn’t order or if you need to return an item you have received,
contact the Overfinch Parts Team on +44 8444 772880 who will give you details of your replacement or return.

 

For Shipping Damage:

·         Immediately after reporting damage to the driver,
contact Overfinch Parts Team on +44 8444 772 880.

·         You will be asked to send the following:

o    Pictures of the damaged packaging and product

o    Copy of the Delivery Receipt and bill of Lading

·         Once the claim has been filed with the carrier, you may be contacted by the carrier for the damage inspection. For a successful inspection, you must keep all original packaging and damaged product until the claim has been settled.

·         We will expedite any order of replacement items for damaged product.
 Your account will be credited these items upon completion of the claim.

 

Returning Product

If for whatever reason you need to return product you have purchased, please contact the Overfinch Parts Sales Team to arrange the return of your items.

·         Contact the Overfinch Parts Sales Team and provide your invoice/document Number
 for any unopened, new product in original packaging you wish to return.

·         You will be provided with a WIP number to include on your shipment.
Your WIP number must be visible to receive a credit for your return.

·         To expedite claims processing, Email the tracking number for your return and
WIP number to
Despatch@overfinch.com .

·         Once we have received your return, your account will be credited
 for the original purchase price minus 15% restocking Fee.
