DESCRIPTION:
SPARINGLY USED BACKUP HEAD OVER THE YEARS & RECENTLY RECONDITIONED IN (2016).

CONDITION:
This is a "pure, clean, power amp" that is "unbelievably quiet at idle" and clean and Ferocious at 5+ on the volume!
Perfect for driving pedals or steel guitar and 4x12 cabs. I have never had it past Volume 7 during any outside venue,
there was no need. The bass & treble boost switch is awesome!

Internal components replaced, where needed, all pots (Potentiometers/controls) replaced and/or cleaned
and "electro-lubed". This Head sat idle for @ 2 years, used as backup unit.

"Bias Set" with existing new tubes, n
ew matched EL34 tubes
(@ 20 hours use.
Amp head looks GREAT and PERFORMS as ORIGINALLY designed = Clean & Loud!

HEAD CABINET Restored in 2016, where needed-new grille cloth & mounting board.
Heat reflective Aluminum HVAC tape, has been applied to 3/16 inch "Foamboard Insulation"
internally between tubes and Grille Cloth board. This keeps Grille Clothe from drying out/yellowing
and wood from drying out - blocks heat (convection) & reflects heat (radiation) - see photos.
This helps tubes heat stabilize during standby -
(Can easily be removed if desired, a personal preference).
The black Tolex has some minor dings - remarkable for its age!

The interior of the cab was cleaned and disinfected and painting/black staining was done where needed.
There is NO SMOKE OR OLD AGE, MILDEW SMELL !

Grille clothe is not original - that dried out, dry-rotted unraveled/unweaved and was replaced with contemporary
1970s Fender SilverFace grille clothe - close match used by many for Musicman Amp restoration.

Electronics professionally checked. NO, NON-SPEC ELECTRIC MODS!!

New replacement jacks and chrome corners are included
(see photos).
Your choice keep as is or replace. I personally do not want to go back into the chassis to unsolder
and resolder electrical components for appearance sake "Murphy's Law"  and "if it ain't broke don't fix it"

There are no replacement chrome straps available on the market for Musicman!

Original chrome CORNERS, STRAPS & some parts were oxidized/rusted, therefore replaced or where possible
conditioned/primed and painted with Acrylic Enamel black - all original hardware was left where possible.

A very clean, professionally restored, (again, only where needed) amp head. This head is heavy, @ 40 lbs so shipping
is not "inexpensive" and it must be "shoe-box packed" with 1/2 inch foam insulation board,on all sides, and then boxed
with heavy duty cardboard and insured for actual value - please consider this.
"It will not be thrown in a box, loose with packing peanuts. Tubes will be indivually packed & insulated.
This model has no foot switch.

Really, try to find a new contemporary USA made, NON-CHINA, 65 watt, Tube Amp/Head this good - for even twice
the price!

Just follow Cautions and notes below.  I cannot guarantee any internal components (except those I had replaced)
due to AGE! -- But these Musicman Amps have the best Longevity of any Tube Amp ever made, even Marshall and Fender!

NO other guarantees or warranties are implied or offered. If there is an issue I will work with you.

NOTE: This is an "OLD SCHOOL TUBE AMP"  --  Heed!!! the recommendations below!!!

1. As with "all tube amp heads": DO NOT POWER UP AND SET VOLUMES WITHOUT SPEAKERS ATTACHED!
2. Tube amps have STANDBY SWITCHES FOR A PURPOSE!
"Power up" with standby ON/Activated - no power to/no sound from speakers.
3. "Minimum" warm-up time in STANDBY IS  =  3 MINUTES! -
This reduces the "Shock" to the tubes and circuits adds longevity to amp!
4. MATCH the correct OHMS SETTING 4 OR 8!
If using multiple cabs in Parallel = Remember Below 2.8 ohms "WILL" eventually damage the amp - period!
5.
POWER DOWN: Turn to Standby, for at least 30 seconds, then power down TOGGLE SWITCH
    to OFF!!
This reduces the "Shock" to the Tubes and circuits adds longevity to amp.
