This is a beautiful set of coasters in Professor Josef Frank's colorful design, "Bows".  Josef Frank (1995-1967) was an Austrian-Swedish architect and one of the foremost representatives of modernism in Austria.  He created the Bows pattern during the period 1920-1930 as part of a larger collection of patterns mixing geometrical shapes with elements from nature.
