Minty excellent Legendary Canon FD 85mm 1.2L. BOKEH MONSTER. Simply awesome optical technology with floating aspherical element let's you shoot in near darkness, and renders tons of creamy bokeh with a subject in sharp focus. The FD series is actually slightly sharper than the cuurent EF series according the mtf charts. But because of the dust created during the lens grinding process leaded glass is no longer used and ultimately the same optical quality cannot be truly recreated. Glass is clean and clear no fungus or balsam separation, focus ring is buttery smooth, aperture is fast and snappy, barrel is very good, may have some light scratches. Canon lens hood has some scuffing and B+W lens hood pretty clean. Pro tech lens sock fits over the B+W hood. New Fotasy FD to NEX adapter included. Front and rear caps, filter, and Lens pouch included. Sample pictures 9 ,10 , and 11 are shot with this lens @1.2 with no strobe only available light. There is not really anything quite like the rendering at f 1.2.
