Film masks for Minolta DiMage Scan Multi Pro (AF-5000) film scanner

These are masks to be used with the universal 120 film holder (UH-P1) with the standard glass insert (HA-P1). The masks have been laser cut from 0.5mm thick matte black HIPS (high impact polystyrene). They are thicker (and stiffer/sturdier) than the original masks. Due to the thickness the film will be positioned a bit further from the scanner, but the auto focus mechanism of the the scanner will be able to compensate for that.

Available frame sizes are:

Standard 120 film sizes:
  • 56x41.5mm (645) (Only 1 left)
  • 56x56mm (6x6) (Sold out)
  • 56x70mm (6x7) (Sold out))
  • 56x77mm (6x8)
  • 56x84mm (6x9) (Only 3 left)
Panoramic 35mm cameras:
  • 24x58mm (Widelux, Horizon rotating lens panoramic cameras)
  • 24x65mm (Hasselblad/Fuji XPan, Noblex 135 - note that Noblex 135 images are actually 66mm wide)
Panoramic 35mm adapters for Medium format cameras:
  • 24x54mm (Bronica ETR) (only 2 left)
  • 24x55mm (Mamiya 6)
  • 24x70mm (Mamiya 7, Bronica GS-1) (Sold out)

Other sizes:

  • 2 adjacent 24x36mm frames - this can be handy if you shot two adjacent frames for a panorama, and want to scan them in one picture, so they are scanned with the same setting (Only 1 left)
  • 16.7x63.5mm - this allows for two adjacent APS images (only 2 left)
  • 13x84mm - for 110 film (only 1 left)
  • 50x86mm - For Noblex/Widelux Pro. This does not cover the full 12 cm image !  (only 2 left)
  • Blank - Allows you to cut your own. The blanks contain a 54x84mm frame with mm gradation to help cutting the right size. If you would like to cut your own, I would recommend to get some 0.5mm HIPS sheet to practice cutting. It may be best to use a scoring knife to do the cutting (Sold Out)

Masks for 35mm, APS and 110 film have lines engraved to help positioning the film. I have also left a strip of backing paper in place for these, which can be helpful in correctly positioning the film. The backing paper is used as part of the cutting process to protect the material from scorch marks and it can easily be removed if necessary (similar to peeling of the protective film of a new phone). If you would like the mask without the strips of backing paper please let me know when you order.

Any questions - please ask.

If you are not happy with the quality of the masks - I'm accepting returns, no questions asked (return postage for the buyer)

If you buy multiple masks, you only pay shipping costs for the first mask - the rest ships for free - as long as you buy them in a single purchase
When ordering, please add a note specifying which mask(s) you want.
