RE Club CDs: See ebay.com/gds/Are-Record-Club-CDs-Inferior-to-Store-bought-CDs-/10000000003020639/g.html This writer contends that BMG releases were manufactured in the same factory that made commercial releases and that there is no evidence that the CDs themselves are inferior.  (Club LPs were another story and apparently account for the prejudice.) Obviously to a collector differences in packaging, liner notes and such counts against them but a listener should find no difference in quality between a club CD and a commercial CD.
