This is a beautiful Blue/GREEN beetle, a Sagra longicollis, that is showcased in a miniature glass display dome.  The glass is removable, and sits on a stained base.  Overall this display is 1 3/4" tall and 1" wide!  This would be a great addition to any collection as well as a great teaching tool for the classroom! This might not be the exact one you receive but they are all about the same.
