In very good to excellent vintage condition.  The original upholstery remains underneath the recover on the sofa but not the cushions.  Sofa was re covered by the original owner in a really cool blue striped corduroy velvet with hints of gold... there are no rips, tears, or unsightly staining... some mild fading and wear from use but very minimal.  Legs has some minor scuffing from age and use.  Sofa is overall sturdy, sound, and ready to use vintage condition, or would look amazing re upholstered.
