I am only selling this exceptionally sharp lens, which is especially well suited for wildlife and sports photography, because I changed to a 300mm 2.8 and do not use it as much any more.  No dust, haze, fungus or scratches as it normally resides in a foam cutout Pelican hard case.  Exceptionally well cared for in every way.

Photographers who are experienced with this lens are well aware of the shortcomings of the original Nikon lens collar and the extraordinary stability and control offered by the aftermarket Kirk lens collar (shown, included).  It totally transforms the lens into a much more stable platform and offers better control of lens rotation.  I have normally used this lens with a Wimberly II gimbal head, for which it is well suited using the Arca/Swiss slot.  Of course it can be used with a normal tripod mount as well.  The two photos (red shouldered hawk and supermoon) were actually taken with this lens.
