Vintage eyeglass frames, which Paddythepeddler believes date from the 1950s, and made in the USA!
Sort of REDDISH WOOD-TONE (MAHOGHANY-ISH) color plastic over a 1/10 12K gold filled metal frame.
The nose bridge read: "ARTCRAFT 24MM 1/20 12K GF"
The temples read: "ARTCRAFT"
Acetate plastic.
Also added to the deal a generic brand case. Good condition and a good fit. And a clean generic lens cloth.
Rare to find in SUPERB TO NEAR MINT CONDITION. Straight and mechanically sound, nothing bent or stripped or crack or chipped. Little to no wear with barely any scratches. The bezels of the frame are in excellent condition and will permit normal removal and installation of lenses.
B&L type nose pads are smooth and remarkably NOT yellow with age; fine, functional condition.
Well cleaned.
Eye size 48mm.
Bridge size 24mm.
Temple size 143mm.
Distance between the hinge screws is 130mm.
Eye size is the horizontal width of one lens in millimeters.
