This is an old I.Sorby - 1/4" wood gouge fitted with a brass ferrule (split) boxwood handle measuring approximately 8½" overall, blade 3½"

The blade has some staining & tarnishing with light pockets of surface corrosion in parts - whilst the handle is sound with just some knocks, marks & stains etc also slight wood loss/shrinkage crack

Overall a genuine tool, and a nice addition to either the toolbox or perhaps collection - just needs a quick hone
