Up for sale is a BNWT Joe McCoy 1930's Steinbeck horsehide leather jacket in black tag size 42.

Made in japan with legendary shinki horsehide, this Steinbeck is a half belt jacket cut in a typical 30's tapered waisted silhouette. Slightly higher collar, higher arm holes and slimmer sleeves. This has a more trailered look than the aero's highwayman but not as ridiculously high cut back as the aero's 30's half belt.

To be honest I am an aero fan I have had quite a few aero's myself but this is in a different league... arguably the best leather jacket money can buy ( if you can find it ! )

Got it from Covent Garden real McCoy store just before xmas. The 42 was the only one left so I quickly snapped it up even though the measurements of 40 from web site looked a better fit. Have been hanging in wardrobe even since as at the time I was working on my other aero premier highwayman at the time. ( just like denim jeans I won't start a new pair unless I have broken in the current pair. I am sure all denim heads can relate to this.)

However I dropped in to the store by chance last week and saw the same jacket in 40! Well that's why this 42 is up for sale.

Never worn outside just tried on a couple of times at home.
