With hundreds of illustrations throughout by Gustave Dore.

Collated, complete with all illustrations.

Large and heavy Books. Size: 12½”x10”x1½”

State of printing is unstated, but probably in the late 1800's.

Conditions:

Both front covers are separated. Spine is missing entirely from the first volume and the second one is fractured. Edges and corners of cover plates are damaged. Prior owner's bookplates are on the front pasteboards and there is a signature on the first page. Three pages are intact to the loose front cover of the 1st volume, but otherwise both volumes are firmly intact. The three pages of "Contents" are in pure condition. There are spotting and tiny pencil lines but the overall condition of the pages are very good.
