This Squier Standard is one of my favourite strats made by the no.1 company for selling guitars at an affordable value. Made in 1996 in Korean during the period where they really got their act together. It has 3 single coil pickups which give you the traditional Fender sound. Too often guitarist simply ignore the guitars controls but you would be amazed at the tonal differences you get making use of the tone and volume controls.The guitar is in good condition with no structural defects; neck is straight and true with no twist, little fret wear and no humming from the pickups or irritating scratchiness from the controls.
The hardware is all good but best of all is the sound when you crank it up. I've have played this through a Marshall Tube, Marshall Valvestate and Fender Amp and on each the guitar performs well at all volumes so no problem with gigging unlike many of the entry level guitars
