A fine quality antique style bronze figure of the Hindu God Shiva. Shiva sits high atop his mountain domain of Kailash holding a trident, mala beads and a water vessel. He has a cobra wrapped around his neck. Cobras are associated with Shiva as even the deadliest of creatures reveres Shiva as their Lord

The casting is beautiful as you can see in the fine details of the fingers and toes.  Each detail is rendered perfectly.  The distinctive patina of the piece is also particularly delightful.
