GODZILLA -
GHIDORAH IN JAPAN -
BANDAI VINTAGE PLASTIC KIT -
MINT

It's Godzilla Vs. Ghidorah, two of Toho's mightiest monsters as you've never seen them before.

The pair of killer kaiju are whimsically recreated here in a vintage plastic model kit by Bandai of Japan, still mint in its box after 26 years.

An injection-molded kit of dark green styrene plastic, the model assembles to feature a 2" tall Godzilla spewing his atomic flame at 1 1/4" tall Ghidorah standing atop a building nearby.  The flame can be removed, and Godzilla can be repositioned in a seated mode with a pull-back motor that sends him soaring across the table.  Beyond the plastic parts, Bandai also includes a mini motor, hardware, and a set of stickers for decorating.

Bandai produced this kit back in 1985, one in a series of miniature movie monster models (others include Dracula, Frankenstein, and Rodan).  All of them boasted exceptional caricature sculpts, all had pullback motors, repositionable features, and beautiful boxes -- and all have become truly hard to find today.  This one's mint: all parts still sealed, a crisp instruction booklet, and a clean, un-marked box with fabulous graphics.

Complete your collection of kaiju classics, or start a new one, but don't miss Bandai's Godzilla Vs.Ghidorah.
