Electric Cigar box Strum Stick and battery amp Combo

 

This is my cigar box strum stick with a guitar pickup and a tone and volume control. This is not a pizo pickup which

makes noise every time you touch the box. This is a professional style instrument and can be played through

a good guitar amp on any stage and you can get any sound you want through the electronics. The 3 string

strum stick neck makes it the easest of all instruments to play. You play it as any strumstick by numbers. You only

 note the bottom string and strum all 3 strings to get a great sound. You can also use a steel or glass slide to get

 the blues sound of the 20s and 30s . Each Cigar box is unique in its own design . No 2 boxes are the same.

This is a great instrument for the Civil War reenatactor. It is a instrument that has been found in the 1800,s  about the time of the Civil War.
