We are a USA based business near Washington DC, we specialize in BGA repair. We have experience with many popular machines and are direct USA agents for many companies.

If you are a USA resident you have 110v and will either need a transformer or install a 220v line. Any electrician can do this, 10 gauge wire and a 20 amp double pole fuse is all you need. We recommend dedicating this line to the machine. For a transformer it is recommended to have 5000 watts for any spikes that may occur.

Europe & Australia have either 220v, 230v, or 240v. This machine will work fine on either.

We have factories in US, UK and China, and this item could ship from either factory. The choice is determined by the stock at the closest factory location. For buyers in Europe we will confirm with you if we need to ship from China since most countries charge VAT.

We have 3 demo rework machines in our USA store currently, available for trial is Quartz, IR, and Hot Air. Feel free to make an appointment to drop by and try them out before making a purchase. There is a lot of risk ordering an expensive machine without having ever tried it before.

I do not recommend this machine for large BGA boards such as PS3s. You can however work on smaller boards such as laptops and 360 boards with the use of a proper support system. 

The upgraded model item # listed above however includes a bigger preheater. This will improve success with larger boards and chipsets.
