2 Quart Canteen with Cover

This US military issued Canteen Collapsible Bladder has a 2 quart capacity. Perfect for staying hydrated on long treks.
These may have a green cap or a black cap. They will have varying years of issue dates.
You will also receive a 2 Quart Canteen Cover that may be OD Green or Tan. The nylon cover will hold the 2qt canteen or can be used as a general purpose carrying pouch. The cover is insulated and has a double hook snap closure to secure the canteen in place. It has an outside pocket that can hold items like water purification pills. It can be attached to the equipment belt or Alice pack. Alice clips are included.
You will receive one (1) Surplus US Military issue 2-QT canteen and (1) Surplus US 2-QT canteen cover with Alice Clips

Good to very good: These are previously issued, used military surplus items but in good to very good condition. All components are fully functional but may show signs of previous use.
So what does signs of use mean?
Canteens are in very good condition and may have some scuff marks or may show some wear. The canteen may have an M1 cap or a flat cap. The cap may not have the rubber boot on the inside covering the spring. These are often removed by soldiers because water gets caught up inside of it. The cap may or may not have the snap cover for the straw entry point. We test all used canteens for leaks. To prevent leakage, please be sure to put the lid on correctly and/or tightly.
Covers are in good to very good condition and may include things like thread snags or fraying, wear on grommets or Velcro, maybe scratches on buckles, or possible dirt or fading. A few have small flaws/holes The canteen covers may or may not have a "US" due to fading or vinyl lettering coming loose. The Alice clips may have been exposed to weather and may show wear or minor surface rust. Carry strap is not included.
Either item may have a soldier’s name on it or other government marks. These are only examples and do not affect the use of the items. These are things that occur during normal use and wear of the item.

We strive to ship your order lightning fast. But we do ask that you give us a little leeway and anticipate a 1-3 business day processing time for orders after we received a cleared payment. We ship Mon. thru Fri., except holidays.
We carefully pack to make sure your items will arrive safe and sound. We use the USPS as our third party shipping service. Depending the order's weight and location, your items may ship by first class, priority or parcel mail, so please allow up to 9 days shipping time once your package leaves our store. Keep in mind that the estimated delivery date is an auto-generated date by Ebay and is an estimate only. Once it leaves us, it’s in the capable hands of our postal workers. We do not ship next day air.
Make sure your address on both your Ebay and Paypal accounts are correct. If your item is returned to us because your address was incorrect or incomplete, we will need to charge you additional postage to have it shipped a second time (or you can choose a refund less original shipping). Please remember that the responsibility of making sure your address is correct is yours. Until now, we’ve never met you, and we just don’t know where you live.
For the protection of our customers, we do not accept any address changes after purchase. If you happen to be an ID thief, shame on you!
High value orders may ship by “signature required.” We reserve the right to separate merchandise into multiple boxes or packages for shipping or to combine orders to ship merchandise in a single box or package.
Combined Shipping
If you are interested in some of our other items, we do offer combined shipping. In fact we would love to have you buy lots of stuff. To purchase, click on “add item to cart.” When finished shopping, click on “request total from seller.” We will send an invoice adjusting the S&H.
We do only combine shipping for items when paid in a single transaction. Combined shipping discounts will not apply to items that already have Free Shipping.
Stock Photos: We use stock photos to represent the items we are selling. They will not be the exact item you will be receiving and are used for examples and are shown as illustrations. Since we have many to sell, we do not take photos of each individual item.

Buying Military
Be advised that it may be against the law to export certain military items outside the US.
Remember, unless marked as new, you are purchasing used surplus merchandise. When it comes to condition, please know that each piece will not be exactly the same condition and no two pieces of surplus gear are alike. Therefore, we rate them in “ranges” of quality. We try our best to give honest and accurate ratings to our merchandise.
For new items, be advised that many genuine military items do not come in individual boxes. Why? The government buys in bulk. Some new items may also be considered “NOS” which is New Old Stock, meaning that they are in new condition and never issued to a soldier, but that they may not have been manufactured recently.
It is common for genuine military equipment to not come with instructions. Soldiers are provided these items from the central issuing facility and then are trained on the use of the items. Therefore, instructions are generally not printed for the items. Plus, as mentioned above, items are generally purchased in bulk from the DOD contractors and do not come in individual factory boxes with instructions included.
We stand behind everything we sell. If you aren’t completely and utterly satisfied with your purchase, you can return it for a refund within 14 days.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It also must be returned with original packaging and parts, if applicable.
There may be certain items that cannot be returned due to their nature. These items will be identified as nonrefundable in their description. Exempt items can include but are not limited to:
- DVDs, Books and manuals
- Certain health, hygiene, and personal care items
- Yummy and Non-yummy food items
Our return policy doesn’t cover ordinary wear and tear, alterations, or damage caused by improper use or accidents. So, as the saying goes, “If you break it, you bought it.” Although technically you already bought it, so really, the saying should be: if you break it, you keep it!
Our policy lasts 14 days – 336 hours - 20,160 minutes. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Sorry for being mean.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. You should consider using a carrier that provides tracking or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item; and we can’t be responsible for packages lost in transit.
If a customer returns merchandise that does not meet conditions of our return policy, it will be sent back to the customer at their expense. Again, sorry for being mean.
If upon receipt, you discover the item is damaged of defective, please contact us right away.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will issue a refund to your Paypal account. For items returned to us because of a circumstance out of our control, including, but not limited to, situations such as you ordering the wrong color or you simply don’t want the product, there is a 15% restocking fee. Please note that we cannot issue refunds for shipping, unless the mistake is ours.
Order Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your order, please notify us right away. If you wish to cancel your order and a shipping label has already been created and your order processed; we are sorry, but this will be considered a completed order and subject to the return policy.

Hilltop Survival Equipment is a veteran owned, and family-owned & operated retail store established in 2012.
Our roots began as Sam Surplus Sales, an internet retailer selling genuine US Military gear. Thanks to all the fantastic customers who have supported us, we took the next step and expanded. As we've grown, we've expanded our product line to not only have military surplus, but also survival and preparedness items and trapping supplies.
