Before you try the vest on, please loosen the straps all the way.  After you buckle up the vest, tighten the straps to let the vest conform to your body's individual shape.  If you wear an XL shirt size, you may feel more comfortable in the Oversize vest and the regular universal vest may feel a little small on you.
