What do you auction and how does it work ?

• Limited edition and personally signed sports memorabilia are auctioned off
• Small / wholesale reserve set on each item. You keep all the proceeds above the reserve. E.g. "Item X" has reserve of $100. If sells for $500 at auction, you keep $400 profit. It is that easy !
• Any items that don't meet the reserve are simply returned with no cost or financial obligation to you. E.g. "Item X" with reserve of $100 only gets bid of $50 at auction, it is passed in and returned to us with no cost at end of night. There are no questions or hassles if one or all of the items did not sell. On past experience we find that on average 90% of our items do sell at auction due to a combination of low reserve price and high quality production.
• Main Auction items – "Live Auction" – usually the items with the higher reserves / best quality items. Auctioneer starts with bids around the reserve and bids then come in from everywhere. All of our main auction items will be numbered (e.g. #1 - #20) making it easy for both the auctioneer and the bidders to know the order.
• Silent AuctionWe supply an agreed number of items for sale on consignment
• Silent Auction – tender bidding. Usually smaller / cheaper reserve items are placed on a side table with bidding sheets. Start price is the reserve. Auction runs itself during the night and is a great compliment to the main auction, allowing many bidders with low budgets to bid on an item. Bidders simply write their name and bid on the sheet, outbidding the previous highest bidder. This continues until the auctioneer declares the silent auction finished at a set time.

• You are able to choose from a wide range of signed cricket, AFL, rugby, netball or basketball items – ALL FREE !!!
• These items can be used in the main or silent auction or can be given away as "lucky door prizes".
• The advantage of having $500 worth of FREE items (all with $0 reserves) is that you can start the bidding at just $1 and sell items in the auction early on (teaching people about bidding rules as you go). This starts the whole auction off well.
• As an additional "thank you" to the club official who organised the auction through us, we will donate a piece of signed sporting memorabilia of your choice.
