The wire is removed from the hood during the re-trimming process. The hood sits better on the shoulders with the wire removed.

We use the highest quality raccoon fur to re-trim the hoods. The fur is big and fluffy and completely transforms the parka. The cost of top quality fur has soared during the last 12 months and with the hoods being so big, they use a lot of fur. We now only use the best fur, but unfortunately our prices have had to be increased to reflect the additional costs.
