Up for sale is this very interesting antique German mantle clock. It has a crossed arrow mark on both the gong and movement, that lead me to believe it is Hamburg American, but the hole locations on the back and bottom lead me to thinking it may be a Junghans chime case. I know Junghans bought out Hamburg American at some point, I am just not sure if this clock is the result of the marriage of those 2 companies or if someone created this later. The movement has been running and striking. There are some scratches and wear to the dial. The case shows a little bit more than what I would consider normal or expected wear, with lots of rubs on the edges and dents or small amounts of loss to the points of the corners. That being said it still displays quite nicely as it is. There is a crack in the panel of the back door, and the bottom panel as well. It measures about 16 1/4" tall, 7 1/2" deep, and 11 1/2" across.
