The
Tarpon 100 Angler’s award-winning design offers both agility and speed to zip
from spot to spot, but also the right amount of stability for fighting fish or
rough waters. The intuitive design allows for a wide range of body sizes with
easy access to gear and the exclusive Slide TraxTM accessory system to trick
out your kayak any way you want. Now featuring the Phase 3® AirPro seating
system for added ergonomic comfort and easy adjustability.
This
stable and maneuverable kayak is loaded with features for fishing. Mounting
options include two Mighty Mounts, two 1.5" Screwballs and one 1"
Screwball so you can customize your fishing platform with additional rod
holders, GPS unit, camera mount and much more. The boat comes with the
versatile Zooka Tube rod holder that accommodates most reel and rod styles. The
Phase 3 Air Pro seat features contoured perforated foam to increase ventilation
and comfort. All adjustment straps are easy to use and are located forward of
the paddler – no more reaching behind to awkwardly pull on straps.
Gear bag attached to seat holds snacks, water bottle or anything you want to
keep close at hand. Bungee cords let you fold seatback down flat if you
transport your boat bow-down on top of your car.
Equipped
with the Slide Trax System, a set of rails on the outside edge of the boat that
lets you mount angling accessories such as a dashboard and storage bags, sold
separately. A full-size tankwell is notched to accept a milk crate and a bait
bucket. Bungees secure everything in place. VisiCarbon Pro safety light with
Wilderness Systems flag help keep you visible to other boats. Two Orbix hatches
with locking lids allow quick and easy access to stored gear. Paddle holders
keep paddles out of the way while you fish. Roomy bow hatch and two day hatches
give you plenty of space for stowing extra gear.

The Wilderness
Systems patented Phase 3 seating system has become the industry leader when it
comes to an amazingly comfortable seat. The contoured seat and seat backs have
been designed with increased comfort in mind. The AirPro also features a
carefully selected material over the perforated foam, greatly improving
ventilation so you and your seat breathe and dry out quickly. Attention to
ergonomic details is also evident in the easily accessible controls that have
been carefully positioned to prevent strain by limiting your reach to adjust
the system. A re-designed leg lifter has now become the central control for
adjusting both the seatback and leg lifter height. The leg lifter uses a pulley
style system that greatly reduces the effort needed to position your legs for
maximum comfort. With an easy pull on the web strap the seat back is lowered.
Located in front of the central controls is a mesh bag that can be used for
storing the leg lifter handle, a water bottle or other items that you would
like to quickly reach. Phase 3 AirPro has taken kayak outfitting to a new level
in ergonomics, ease of use, innovative materials and custom adjustability. It’s

Scupper Holes
Scupper holes are located in
the cockpit, foot wells, and tankwell of the Wilderness Systems Tarpon. These
holes are self-bailing which means any water coming over the deck of the kayak
will automatically drain out.
