Up for auction is a 1/6 plate daguerreotype portrait of a beautiful young in half leatherette case with a CROOKED placed leather decal which I don't know that I've seen before. She also comes without a preserver. This girl has on a nice plaid dress & has an expression like perhaps she has some wisdom beyond her years. This image does have some condition issues that show in the scan & are a shame for this could be such a strong Dag!   This Dag has been  resealed with new glass & filmoplast P-90 archival tape.
