We sell HUNDREDS a year and customer satisfaction is over 99.5%! This item is close to UNBREAKABLE. Use is simple- simply screw the anchor into the sand ALL THE WAY UP TO THE TOP.  Then place your umbrella pole into the anchor and tighten the adjustable screw to hold your pole into place!  Life is MUCH easier with one of these and SAFER for you and those around you!  If you use an umbrella at the beach, YOU NEED THIS!  Fly away umbrellas can KILL!  Trying to shove the point of a pole in the sand is tiring, time consuming and usually ineffective. The unit is made of very sturdy plastic. We have seen 2 break out of over 1000 sold- THEY ARE STRONG! Unlike its metal counterparts, this will NOT rust and it is weighs less than one pound!  Please note:  If the wind is blowing very hard, there is not an umbrella or an anchor that can withstand that.  You can not change the laws of physics, but on a normal breezy beach day you will find your umbrella holding in place with other less educated people are chasing theirs down the beach hoping that no one gets hit by it!

  It will hold a pole up to 1.5 inches thick.  It is 15 inches from top to bottom, and the handle is just under 10 inches from side to side.
