" For 1969, Cadillac introduces its all-time masterpiece, beautifully new and distinctively Cadillac. Completely restyled , the 1969 Cadillac had every line and contour redesigned for a longer, sleeker look, its luxurious beauty was indeed the art of Cadillac stylists. The Cadillac's V8 472 ci was the largest production V8 to power a passenger car with impressive smoothness, dependability and quiet. The new ventilation system eliminated the need for a vent windows, giving  to the car a new longer and sleeker look roof design, the interior were the most luxurious in Cadillac history up to that year, with many power assists and personal conveniences the 1969 DeVille Convertible was one the world's most exciting motor cars .

This particular 1969 Deville Convertible offered here has been kept throughout the years in great condition, a all original matching numbers car still drives and looks as in its glamorous  early days, a unique example featuring a very attractive color combination , a special ordered  biscay aqua  firemist metallic color at extra charge from factory.

The cost of restoration easily exceeds the asking price for this Cadillac , every mechanical aspect has been either overhauled or checked for functionality and reliability, all necessary  parts have been replaced with NOS or OEM replacements, the interior has been completely restored with original colors ,new seat covers , carpet  and trim have been installed , the dash and instrument cluster have been totally disassembled and brought back to original condition, the convertible top was simply completely overhauled with new top motor, cylinders, hydraulic lines ,switch and of course a new vinyl top as it came out from factory, the body is amazingly  straight and perfectly lined up ,I have acquired this Cadillac a few years ago with original paint, the car was repainted for the first time with exactly matched color , in fact the inner part of the trunk lid was kept with the original paint and jack instructions in attempt to  preserve part of the originality , same applied for the lenses  the chrome and stainless steel moldings which  still show  a great shining original condition , wheel covers shine as a new and all the Cadillac crests have been hand repainted ,all the rubber weatherstrip  have been replaced  including rubber bumpers and small gaskets, the engine compartment was totally detailed replicating as much as possible the original aspect, needless to say that every component have been overhauled with new parts such as carburetor , ignition distributor, cooling system, motor mounts , steering, suspension with new shock absorbers and much more...

For those Cadillac and car lovers who appreciate the beauty but also  put in consideration value, I believe this car represents potentially a new standard on the collectable car market where a substantial increase on the appreciation and value for these beautiful and elegant  models  will occur on the years to come.
