Welcome! My name is Amy Karich and I am the artist at Amy’s Dollhouse. I so enjoy the art of reborning. Making blank vinyl doll parts “come to life” through the art of reborning is a source of tremendous pleasure and pride for me. Each baby created in my nursery is a unique work of art made from the highest quality materials. They are heirloom quality babies that (with loving care) will stand fast against time to be passed down through many generations.

  Please join me in re-introducing my little Quinlynn. Quinlynn is available again due to an incomplete layaway.  It has not been a hardship for me though getting to enjoy having this little one in my nursery for a bit longer. I have lovingly created Quinlynn from the highly sought after, sold out Limited Edition “Quinlynn” sculpt by talented sculptor Laura Lee Eagles.  She was created from blank kit number 39 of 800.  I have enjoyed every moment that I have dedicated to bringing this tiny baby girl “to life.” It is my pleasure to find a loving home for her though I will have a difficult time parting with this very realistic little girl.  I have absolutely fallen in love with her and I hope that you will too.

   

                                                                                                                                                                                                     

                                                                                                                                                                                                               

   

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Quinlynn’s journey began as a brand new vinyl kit that I carefully washed to remove any factory residue. She was then given her amazingly lifelike skin tones and subtle veining using many layers of Genesis heat set paint. Each crease and wrinkle has been carefully shaded. Each fingernail and toenail has been meticulously detailed and triple sealed.  The sweet little hands and feet are so important to me.  I have noticed that they are the first parts of a baby that people examine.  I work very hard to make sure that they are incredibly realistic looking.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

                                                                                                                                                                                                     

                                                                                                                                                                                                               
   

       

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  Notice Quinlynn’s ultra realistic skin tones and texture.  Her delicate eyebrows have been carefully painted to match her hair color.  Her eyelashes have been rooted with the same hair that I used for her head.  Her eyelids, nose and mouth have been glazed for a realistic moist look.   I have given Quinlynn very subtle veining and capillaries, with realistic mottling and undertones. No detail has been overlooked with this little angel.  I have taken all of Quinlynn’s pictures using natural daylight and in some cases, she was photographed outside in direct sunlight. I have made every effort to depict her in the truest light possible so that my buyers will know how she will look in their own home.  Her photos were taken at different times of the day in dim lighting as well as bright lighting thus some photos may appear darker than others.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                  For tactile as well as up close realism, I feel that there is just no substitute for rooted hair.  Quinlynn’s hair has been directionally micro rooted in a natural growth pattern with a beautiful shade of light baby brown slightly wavy premium kid first clip mohair. I have rooted her in a very sparse newborn style. I used a 43 guage forked German needle that only grabs one or two hairs at a time so that the hair looks like it is growing right from her scalp.  It feels just like real baby hair!  Quinlynn’s hair has been sealed on the inside so that it can be brushed and styled.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Baby Quinlynn has FULL vinyl arms, FULL vinyl legs and a soft doe suede NON-jointed body with a gathered chest and tushie that was custom made just for her.  She is so much fun to cuddle.  I find that I can’t seem to pass by her without picking her up and holding her.  Her body has been filled with soft fiberfill, plastic poly pellets, and zinc coated steel pellets for realistic weighting. She even has soft silicone inserts lining her sweet tushie for a more realistic feel.  Her head and limbs have been filled with tiny glass beads and soft fiberfill.   I never use sand in any of my babies so they may be shipped overseas. Quinlynn will feel so real in your arms that you will not want to put her down. At 19 inches long and a little over 6 pounds, Quinlynn is about the size and weight of a newborn baby.  She is so perfectly weighted that she snuggles into your arms just like a real baby. Be careful to support her head as you would a real newborn baby. Baby Quinlynn wears size newborn and some 0 to 3 month real infant clothing.                                                                                                                                                                                                                   Every part of Quinlynn’s “skin” has been varnished and sealed for protection. She has been given a satin finish for a dewy skin look.  Although the varnish leaves a slight texture behind, I have found that it is necessary in order to preserve the integrity of her coloring. Please note that Quinlynn has a magnetic hair bow, pacifier and umbilical cord. These magnets are strong so extra caution should be taken if you are sensitive to magnets or have a pacemaker. I will be happy to remove Quinlynn’s magnets upon request. Amy’s Dollhouse is a smoke free environment.

                Shipping charges are calculated according to the buyer’s location. I ship USPS priority mail which takes 2-3 days within the United States. International packages are shipped using USPS Express Mail International. Your new baby will be shipped as soon as payment is received. All of my babies are packed securely and will arrive safe and sound in your home. Insurance is also included in the shipping cost. International buyers, please note that I am not responsible for any customs charges that your country may charge.

I DO NOT accept returns as I do provide a very detailed description and many clear pictures taken with professional photography equipment in several different lighting scenarios. I try to reach into at least one photo so that my buyers have both a skin color reference and some scale for size.  LAYAWAY

I am happy to offer a layaway option to my bidders.  I do require that you contact me prior to bidding if you would like the layaway option.  To place this doll on layaway, I require a non-refundable deposit of 50 percent of the winning bid (plus sales tax if applicable) with the balance plus shipping (if applicable) due within thirty days.  If more time is needed please let me know before bidding.
