This auction is for a beautiful antique hammered sterling silver OVAL BREAD TRAY made by The WHITING COMPANY. The motif is floral, dominated by Roses.

It will be sent in a Pacific Silver Cloth, 15" x 15", with zippered top.

The bread tray is in excellent antique condition with light scratches and strong pattern definition. You may want to polish more.

The dimensions are approximately 12" x 6-1/4" x 2" high. It weighs 258 grams.

It is marked with the Whiting touchmark and "Sterling 4463 D."  Also, the initials WWM are incised near the mark -- artist's initials?
