Saramonic SR-WM4C Wireless Radio Lapel Lavalier Microphone Kit for DSLR

The Saramonic SR-WM4C is a complete wireless microphone system consisting of a body pack transmitter, shoe-mountable receiver and Omni directional clip-on lavalier mic. This package will enable the recording of audio wirelessly from up to 60 metres away, directly into your camera or any portable recording device with a standard 3.5mm TRS jack socket.

The SR-WM4C package is very simple to use and extremely lightweight. Easily select from 4 signal channels, A/B/C/D by sliding the channel selector switch at the side of both SR-WM4C units so that they match. If you encounter interference on a specific channel just simply switch to another in order to operate on a different frequency.

The clip-on omnidirectional lavalier microphone plugs directly into the the body pack transmitter via a professional 3-pin mini xlr terminal, for a secure, balanced audio signal. The Lavalier Mic has an unobtrusive low profile and features an all metal construction and a wind shield cover is also included to reduce wind noise distortion.

The audio signal is sent from the transmitter to the wireless receiver over a VHF operating frequency of 203MHz (Channel A) to 216MHz (Channel D).

The Wireless receiver can be mounted to your camera’s hot shoe with the included shoe mount adapter, making it easy to connect the supplied signal transmission cable from the Audio Out jack on the receiver to the MIC input of a camera or portable audio recorder. The shoe mount also has a ¼ inch thread socket for attaching the receiver to tripods or magic-arms etc that have screw threads. If you connecting the receiver to a portable audio recorder and not directly to the camera then it may be preferable to use the supplied belt clip instead of the optional shoe mount.

The SR-WM4C Transmitter and SR-WM4C Receiver are each powered by two AAA batteries (not included) and will last for approximately 5 hours of continuous use. An LED battery power indicator on the transmitter and receiver keeps you informed on the remaining battery life of each unit.

The Reciever has a volume control dial to ensure the signal is loud enough or not peaking and the audio levels can be monitored live via the headphone jack. This is an extremely useful function as it is not often possible to monitor audio live through a DSLR. This will guarantee you get the audio levels you desire every time, which is invaluable. info
